Film Reviews & Headlines

On Christmas Eve. Many years ago I laid quietly in my bed. I did not rustle the sheets. I was listening for a sound. A sound I was afraid I’d never hear. Well, are you coming? Where? Why, to the North Pole. Of course! This is the Polar Express! [Music] All aboard!

  1. Classic. Childhood. Christmas. Nostalgia.

    No room for haters.

I was in the 3rd grade like at 8 years old in 2004. Our school took a field trip to see the movie. It was honestly the funnest.

  2. When I was little, I had Clifford's really big movie on DVD. Everytime I'd watch it, this trailer would play. Everything about this trailer is engraved in my memory. The sights, the sounds, even the way the conductor said "This is the Polar Express!" Speaking of which, that's how old that DVD was, and that this is 2018, that dvd was made 14 years ago.

  3. I remember seeing this in theaters back in 2004. I was in 3rd grade and we took a field trip to see it. Favorite movie ever. Classic. Best memories

  4. This pretty much the best trailer for a movie like this. And it does really well on bringing the book alive on the big screen.

  5. im a grown up now and christmas will never be same experience again like when i was a kid. i lit cried after watching this (just recently) and i remembered i also used to believe in santa. everything was so simple, peaceful and full of love but everything is different now..

  6. This movie should be seen in theaters every Christmas. It’s not just a moviegoing experience. It’s a tradition!

  7. Such a fantastic movie. For some reason, I always get misty eyed at the end. Maybe because the music is so beautiful.

  8. I still remember the first time i watched this and i said holy moly! This is the most realistic animated movie i have ever seen. And i got excited when we are seeing this.

  12. I noticed that in the trailer it had 3 cars just the the lionel PE. No wonder… But some thing bothers me. When the lights of the train reflect on hero boy's window, they're going left, but when the train stopped it was facing right.

  17. Ever since I saw this when I was 2. It was an instant love and passion for trains. I am now 15. This movie continues to inspire me to accomplish my dreams. Christmas doesn’t start till we watch The Polar Express. This is a movie I will continue to show to my kids and my kids kids. It is because of this movie that makes me want to go work for the D&SNGRR in Colorado.

  18. I remember back in 1st grade with my classmates. We went to the theatre in our pajamas to watch this movie and drink hot coco. I miss those times.

  19. Is anyone going to talk about how the way that the conductor talks is much different than the actual movie, and when the boy says "where" it is a completely different voice?

  20. I love this movie cause my grandma got me a train set to play with when I was little.
    She passed the next year.
Every time I was it it reminds me of her.
    I miss you Grandma.

  21. You mean there was a time where this movie wasn’t out? Where elementary school kids didn’t huddle around the projector watching this movie? Where you didn’t hum the hot chocolate song to yourself for the entirety of December? What a dark time.

  22. It’s really weird that this came out the year after I was born can’t imagine people not watching this every Christmas

  23. I was 4 the first time I watched this ahh the memories man. I was so Addicted to this I had it on dvd and I had the game on ps2 the toy train his dressing gown with his yellow pants I had it all I miss films like this. Now we have films like the boss baby which I don’t mind but there’s a missing piece about thoes type of films that were in these films like the dark toned excitement that little void that won’t be filled the kind of film we’re u actually felt something the kind of film that adults and children could watch but now we got movies like Emoji movie that ruins it for the adults as well I really miss these kind of films the worst thing is the new animation movies just get worse and worse everytime you watch them smh
