  1. Proud of karnataka. Proud of Bangalore. electricity Powered from here from this river only.

Beneath the mountain regions of Melukote runs towards markonahalli dams, clouds formed in this Mountain valley cause rain around the forest land of honakere surroundings. By these two major rivers are born. Lokapavani and veera vishnavi are both the revers born here. there revers also carry Markonahalli Dam backwater.

    Lokapawani Joins Kavery Directly.
Veera Vaishnavi Joins SHIMSHA then joins Kaveri.

Veera Vaishnavi is one of the major backbone rivers to Shivanasamundra along with some more small rivers namely kanihalla, chickkhole, Hebbahalla, Mullahalla & Kanva.

Shimsha has a waterfall at Shimshapura in Malavalli Taluk. This is also the location of the Shimsha Hydro Electric Project which has an installed capacity of 17,200 kilowatts. It was the first-ever hydro electric project in Asia.

Sudheesh Sir as always admire your efforts. Regards.
